I have some minor scrapes on our MH from hitting low tree branches. While we have small bottles of the exterior paints, I am hesitant to use them without knowing any tricks to blend in the touch up. Any hints???

You might just chalk it up to "road rash" and forget them. We have a couple of those as well. There is not a lot I can see doing about them as the paint has a clear coat and nothing you can do short of redoing the entire side will make it look perfect again.
If your scratch is only an inch or so, then perhaps you can hide it using the touch up paint.

If the scratches aren't deep (doesn't catch your finger nail when run across the scratch) I would just try using paint polish and see how that works. If the scratches are deeper, the process gets more complicated and the risk of messing up the paint job increases, so I would take it to a paint shop and have them buff out the scraches.

Go to one or two of the local auto dealerships and ask about the guys who fix the chips and scratches on the trades.
We have several around this area who come by weekly and repair this kind of damage. Had a brand new 750 BMW with the pearl finish that had a chip on the nose the size of a fingernail. The guy matched the paint perfectly, clear coated it and buffed it to match the rest of the hood. Perfect job and just a bit over $100. One guy has everything in a small cargo trailer, another in a van. All he will need is good weather and a power source to run the air compressor.

I have used the finest grade of polishing compound and hand rubbed minor scratches out.
The instructions are usually on the can.
It's available at any auto parts store.

The 3M scratch remover that you find in the sporting good section (boat maintenance products) at Walmart works like a charm. I suggest applying that with a microfiber cloth as well.
Good luck... time to do mine again too... but it's pretty hot outside right now. LOL.
