Sorry to hear of your dilemma. I bet you'll never do that again. I use a Hydro Flush to drain & rinse the tanks. That way you can do it all from outside with ease.

Well yesterday I took a piece of copper tubing and duct taped a magnet on the end and went fishing in my black tank and came up with nothing. I then filled my black tank with fresh water and flushed, still nothing. I did it a second time and stuck my " fishing pole in the drain and met resistance, loooked in drain with flashlight and there was the can of shaving cream standing up straight in tank right at the drain. I checked tank more closely and found a hose clamp covered with plumbers putty, loosened it and removed pipe and grabbed my catch. replaced pipe with putty and it ended up alot cleaner and easier than I ever thought. And no I wont do that again. Looks like a turbo flush is on my next shopping list at the local Rv dealer. Thanks for all your input.

You haven't smelled

A face so rank,

Until your can

Falls into the tank.
