As you come into the park there is a causeway with small islands on the right. Some big gators sun themselves. While driving back to the campsite two teenage girls were standing behind their car in the road and a rather large one was just about out of the water.Something tells Me the ladies were feeding them.
The ranger said there was about 100 in the waters around the area.
Never seen any on the roads though.

Don't do that. We love the Florida panhandle but you won't regret Huntington Beach, Hunting Island or Edisto. Our favorite is Huntington Beach; we end up there in the fall and early winter when all the beach-goers are gone.
