Thought I would share this with since Koa has come up a few things over the past month here. I had to stay at the koa b/c I could not get my daughter until 7/2 from the outlaws who live up the road from here. First off price $50 for full hooks 30 amp w cable. A little steep for one night but the fact they were close to my former outlaws was important. I pulled in and the pool is up front. Nice size and really clean. Check in was breeze I was really impressed with the 17 yr old who was friendly and professial. I stuck around to check out the store which decently stocked. I like cold beer so I check out the price and it was in line about 1 higher then you would pay elsewhere. I paid 17 dollars for 12 pack at Tremount 3 weeks ago While checking out the store, I heard the young kid conversations with several other people and he was consistant with his professional attidue. When I got set up I wrote a letter to Koa and the managerment of this place with the kids name stating how impressed I was with his attitude.

Sites are tight and close together. Sites also hard to find but the site I had a patio and nice shade. Also, the restroom super clean.

I writing this outside seems like college move in day because ever one is checking for the 4th be glad to head to charleston sc in the am

Lastly, if new to here turn left on Wears Valley Rd light 3 off the main highway no traffic leads right to the place

How nice to hear that someone (and a 17 yo to boot) is friendly and professional. So many times we hear about the opposite.
We find that every KOA is a bit different but this sounds like one to visit. I am headed to E.TN next week, might have to go over to PF to visit family there.

Good to hear the positive comments.

Did the 17yr old sell you the beer? That's illegal in most states.

I was nervous to read this post as we are heading there in a few weeks, but I'm relieved to hear that it was a good experience. Thank you for sharing.

Traffic wasn't bad a few days ago. Gosh, those deluxe sites are around 80 bucks a night, right? I drove through the place. Those sites are not worth that money. Two rivers behind knife works has nicer deluxe sites on the water for 65 a night. Enjoy.
