Yesterday was indeed more than we expected. The new Pulse and the thirty odd mile drive home went well with just one exception,we both got sore jaws from all that grinning!!

Rita, at 5'3", drove about halfway home and parked it herself, what a Gal!

Thanks to all again for the kindnesses and supportive replies to the OP.

So glad that things have worked out for you and what started out as a melancholy posting has now turned into a joyful one. I can foresee something like that in our future as well, and hope to transition into it as gracefully as you have. Best of luck and see you on the road!

Jack and Rita,

How exciting for you both!

I had just read your first post to this topic to my Husband and said "how sad". (yes we will all be there eventually)

Then when I read your latest info that was just great to hear! Have Fun with your new RV.

I'm so glad you found the 24 footer. In March of this year we traded our 2006 TT for a pre-owned Fleetwood Flair ('99 model) 32V with low mileage and lots of miles left in it. Hitching and dragging the TT became too much for DH. With the scissor tow package on the front of our '01 Saturn tow, the hook up to the MH seems to be a lot easier on him. And riding down the road with the two dogs asleep on the sofa is a LOT nicer than having them want to be in the front seat with us!!!
