I have a new 2008 Jayco Seneca Kodiak. Does anyone know who would pay for the towing or who to call if I have a breakdown while on the road? Getting ready for a trip buthaven't received anything from Jayco or GM yet. I know with all my previous MH's I got a card from Coachnet for a free year. Anyone know how Jayco does this? Tex

There are several roadside service programs out there. You'll hear good and bad about all of them. Personally we use Good Sam's ERS and have been very happy with the service we've received over the past 2 years. We've had to use them twice and both times got a good response to our call.

On a Ford chassis if it is a chassis problem you call a 800 ford #, so I would think the same would be true with your chassis manafacture. Did you get an owners manual for the chassis? Should have # in there.

My Gulf Stream came with Coach-Net free for the first year. I went ahead and paid for the second year. Fortunately, I have not had to use them yet but it sure is nice to know if you have a problem, someone is there to help you out.

Tex,

My 2007 Seneca 35GS came with Coachnet and I did have to use them. About 4 months back I had the exhaust repaired for the second time. During the repair, the chassis batteries weren't unhooked while welding on the frame and it destroyd my ECM where the engine wouldn't even turn over. I called Coachnet, they had it towed to a shop 125 miles away that was an authorized medium duty GM dealer and it didn't cost me a dime for the tow and GM didn't charge me a thing for the ECM.

Come to find out they cover my wife and daughter (17 yrs) with roadside service when they are in their personal vehicles at no extra charge so I had them send me two more cards. My daughter locked her keys in her car and she called Coachnet... guess what? No charge.

I think all new Jaycos come with the first year Coachnet.

I've seen Coach-Net recommended more than any of the other services and that's what I have.

I'm surprised your new coach did not come with a year of service...

Actually, GM will cover the towing for the first 3 years (assuming they stay in business). Coach net will hook you up with GM (or you can call then yourself, the info is in the owners manual) and GM will coordinate a tow to the closest authorized MDT center.

John, thats what I had kinda thought since the chassis is GM. Did you get a free year of Coachnet with your Jayco Seneca? Did the card just come in the mail? I bought mine a little over a month ago. Thanks, Tex
