Hey everyone,
Need some input on what would be the best over the counter product to wash the rig that won't leave spots. I did a search, as I did follow a thread regarding this issue but have not found it.
I am presently in the desert with no shade (see my profile), a friend will empty his water truck and fill the tank with water taken directly from a well to rinse the rig down.
Since it's around a 110 degrees during the day we are planning on washing the rig at sun down. Also is Alcoa wheels clear coated? If it isn't I know what I'll need to make it shine...
Thanks for your suggestions, as I hate purchasing things that don't work as advertised. (leaving spots etc.).

We just used the Mr. Clean system to wash the C. It's a unit that screws onto the hose. There's a cartridge with soap and a special filter that cuts the minerals and such when you rinse. You stil have to sponge the rig when it's soapy but after you rinse, there's no spots!

Turtle Wax Zip Wax Car Wash does an excellent job. Always best not to wash in direct sunlight! Bagman.

Voom RV wash. Available at Camping World for about $17 or so a gallon. One gallon will do about 7 or 8 washes. I have used it for years with city water, well water, any water, in hot sun, etc., etc. I think it matches Mr. Clean but is far quicker and easier to use. I did a black dirty Hummer in 20 minutes. I used my long handled brush. Mixed in a pail of water I brushed it and then hosed it off. No drying at all. Even the next day the Hummer looked like it was waxed. Good stuff.

I have had very good success with the Waterstick We have very hard water here in FL. and this has done the job for me. It's easy to make one yourself from PVC and purchase the Resin online. The MH dries spot free, however do not let any of the hard water dry on the MH.

Living in Florida I know well the problems of water spots when washing vehicles. For me, the perfect solution is to use a no rinse product like "Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine". I buy it by the gallon (online) and use it follows:
1. Add 1 oz to 2 gallons of water in a bucket, soak a microfiber towel in the solution and wash a section at a time, then dry each section just washed with a dry microfiber towel. A bonus is using only 2 gals of water to wash a truck (a class A might take 2 batches, but perhaps not). Many areas are restricting vehicle washing either because of water conservation, or not wanting puddles from a wash.
2. You can also mix 1.5 oz to a quart of water to make a great 'Instant Detailer' for wiping down vehicles after getting hit with a bird bomb, or cleaning bugs off the front.
The manufacturer is Optimum Polymer Technologies, you can google it for more info.
