Decorate away...if other people dont like lights and wind chimes, well thats there tough luck. Everyone thinks your responsibility is to cater to thier camping style. As long as you are not violating a campground rule have fun.
Hi I have been reading everyones responses and for the most part we all agree to each his own. I have a question though. We have a new to us TT and I am slowly putting some individual touches to the inside. My question is, how is the best way to hang pics and such. What do you use on the walls of a TT that wont damage anything.
Thanks for any help

3M has some removeable hooks that don't do any damage when removed. Sticky velcro is good too.

We have a seasonal spot in northern Wisconsin so we have a nice carpeted patio, some great trees, a lake view and have a wooden birdhouse on a stand with a Loon motif and our handmade sign with our names on it which we lite up at night and I buy lots of pots of flowers to border the patio with and a couple hanging planters. Will try to post a pic, later. Inside I have a couple Loon plates and decorations in the house, but mostly I don't like clutter so I keep it kind of simple. Just enough to keep my "nesting syndrome" happy.
We finally took out the "came with the TT" bedspread and changed the bedroom from earth tones to plain yellows, and bamboo greens linens/bedspread. I was surprised how those colors fit in with the American Indian theme which we had already.
Took awhile for me to convince hubby that it was time for a change, but finally brought it up while we were shopping in Target for a food processor to do our own salsa, and beef/salad sandwich mixes. Yes, ladies, I went from food to linens again with him. Works most of the time. Better have learned something in these past 40+ years of marriage.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.... its learning to dance in the rain!

Like the way you think.
We had our first decoration before we got the camper. Our camping group held their first white elephant exchange and I received a flamingo lawn ornament - this is Flem the flamingo. He goes with us wherever we go. I collect ceramic plates and have a large one on the kitchen counter to block the tank lights. I also have 2 wind chimes on each end of the awning, and a seat of lights, which we use mostly in our dining tents. And a frog for our picnic table. DH made a wine holder for the camper and many nice hooks.
Now, we have a new camper - coming Wed. Things may change.
