Trailer mounted grills are nice and convenient but there is an advantage to having a totally portable unit. After seeing the sidekick units, I think you can do better for the money by buying the Weber 100 or 200 grill and a small folding table or Weber cart for the grill. Then, you have the freedom to setup your cooking area where ever it works the best. And, the Weber can be used anywhere...I use ours at our cottage, and anytime we just need to take a grill along.

I totally agree. We have the Weber Q and it is an excellent grill. Much better for the $$. And we can set it up anywhere. We most often camp at State and National parks where the sites are much larger and we set up our grill by the table, which is often 15' or more away from our TT.

I prefer to keep the fish fumes from grilling fresh Salmon away from the trailer..

don't waste your money, just buy a separate grill. folks here have reported on the shortcoming of the cooking ability of those attached grills. I certainly don't want my grill against my rV, under an open window, and under the awning. and if you buy a cheap one Like i like to do, you can replace it every other year or so.

We just bought a Coleman Road Trip LXE. It can be used on a table or stand alone with it's legs. It collapses nicely and is large enough to handle 6 huge steaks with room to spare. We broke it in yesterday for the 4th and it performed great. $175.00 at Camping World. What I like best is it collapses down rather small and compact to stow underneath in our Class A's storage.

Ditto on the Coleman Road Trip LXE. We like it a lot. Big 5 had it on sale the other day I was there for $150.

Don't know anything about them... however when we were looking for trailers and had it down to two with pretty much the same.. we chose the one that had the outdoor stove instead of grill... mostly for the reasons you state.. well not mostely, mostly because I prefer cooking with charcoal

I didn't like the idea of greasy smoke going up on the awning. We have a separate grill.

I bought a track and made a shelf to go on the rail in place of the grill.
