I find everyday, in some small way, that my cats are grateful for the life they have, they all have known the other side and two came to me suffering from starvation and neglect, one in particular was not far from death.
In their own sweet ways they tell you they love you and thank you for giving them this life.
You've done right and well by these cats Cat, I applaud anyone that puts their heart and soul into the betterment of these lives.

Oh I did, I have one black beauty left, he's thirteen and such a sweetie, I would post a pic but you know how that goes for me.
Teddy was my other blackie, oh how I miss him.
Undoubtedly black cats have always been my favorite, I find them to be usually rather unique, sometimes a little wacko, but I love them.
what beautiful cats and thank you for taking in a stray. if you remember I posted a question about a 12 yr old female and a new male kitten getting along about 6 months ago. well I am pleased to say that now the oldest one plays with him and they chase each other and will sit beside each other. I am not sure she like the kisses he gives her. and oh yes the 6 month old is getting neutered tomorrow . we will see what Marble does tomorrow when he comes home from the vet. she may even show she does care. oh they are tooooo funny.
