I may be lookin for a "new" used TH soon (old one may get totalled). The wife would like a 5th wheel w/slides....I want to stay with the same truck, 06 Dodge 2500, SRW,short bed, cc,,,,,what makes/models do you guys think I should be lookin at?

If you didn't need a slide you could look at the SL light series from Weekend Warrior.

Forest River XLR or Salem has some good TH floor plans. I think the Salem toyhaulers are a little lighter.

She want to have slide out in bedroom or living room ? I do have Attitude AKSG 30 with slide out in bedroom and we like it . Perfect weight for my truck, which is a same like yours. My is 2007 short bed not sure about yours length of bed.

My 2006 Weekend Warrior LE3505 has no slides, but lots of room in the stand up, walk around bedroom. Should tow fine with the 2500. See my prior posts for real weights.

we currently have a jayco 28'talon bumper pull....it may end up totalled due to hail damage...they are looking at replacing all sheet metal and a new rubber roof!!! if it gets totaled the wife wants a slide in the living/galley area at least...

I have a 2007 2500 dodge quad cab short bed and tow a cyclone 3795, I really think that you will be surprised with how well it does considering that the trailer usually weights around 15-16k and is 38 feet long. All I did was put airbags under the truck and i have no problem. I just added a exhauste brake and it works great.

Greg, is your truck SRW? How is the stability with that trailer? I assume you pull it full of fresh water? Ive seen those and thought those would need at least a 4500 series truck. That's encouraging, now if I can find a deal!!!
