Just thought I'd let you know MDW called WW yesterday to see if we could and or schedule some warranty work. They told her yes and we are scheduled for Dec 10th and that they would be contacting us in a couple of weeks to confirm the list of repairs and vin #. Dec. will be past our 2 year warranty ending date in Oct. MDW told WW that and WW made a note and said it won't be a problem because we called and scheduled before the ending date was up.

Fuel pump is out and we have some cosmetic issue's inside the trailer. This will be the second time in. FYI ya'll

Our warranty was up in Jan '08. When I called in Dec we were unable to make arrangements prior to our warranty expiration. WW honored all warranty work even though it was technically expired.

Good for you....I think?? DECEMBER?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!! I'm sure at this point that you're happy to have a date at all but that is almost unbelievable to me. That is why the company is in the dumper because their customer service is horrendous. People can say otherwise all that want but your post is proof enough for me!!!

I would ask them to fax or email a confirmation that states they are going to honor your expired (by then) warranty. I trust that their word is good, but I would do this regardless of any company's status or well being.

O.P. deleted

I want to leave this earth quietly in my sleep like my grandfather and not like the hysterical, screaming passengers riding in granddad's RV just before the big crash.

That's good news that they are still planning on resolving the problems for folks. December sure seems like a long long way off.

I take that as very good news for you and for the inustry. I am sure you would have liked to get in sooner, but you are getting it done, which sounded questionable with all the doom and gloom stories flying around.

Yep when WW calls us in a couple of weeks to confirm repairs required we are asking for something in writing.

Sooner would be better but knowing that they are still accepting warranty work is a relief knowing/hoping they well be staying in buisness. WW told us that was the next available date.

PT that was just way to funny. Snort snort.

I'll update this post as we proceed

The fact they are even bothering to schedule any work speaks volumes what is going on at WW. If you were going to close shop why would you spend time booking warranty work? You wouldn't. Hopefully Mark is getting things put back together.
