heading out

taken as we left on our trip, southwest of billings, montana. were it not for my daughters love for disney i would never leave this place.

orangeland rv park, orange ca

taken at the wonderful orangeland RV park, which we consider to be as much of an attraction as the theme parks we visited. orangeland has a feeling all its own, i think its the best rv park ive ever visited.

disney land

disney land is hot, expensive, and very crowded yet none of that matters when you see your daughters face light up. despite all the money spent on the newer rides (toy story, indiana jones, etc.) the classic rides (space mountain, splash mountain) are still the best.

disney sure wiped out the little one. this was taken within 15 minutes of getting back.

browning museum
i couldnt pass through ogden utah again without taking the time to visit the browning museum.

overall i must admit to being somewhat disappointed in the museum. as a tribute to one of the greatest men in history i would have expected a dedicated building/museum. instead, the browning museum is basically one room inside of a railroad museum. i would also like to see them remove the non-browning firearms displayed as they have nothing to do with a tribute to john browning....perhaps i miss the point in the museum....i just feel they could have done a better job celebrating the legacy that john browning created. is the company hurting financially?

the only downside to vacation is that when its over you know you have another year to face before you can do it again.

Nathan, great family vacation pictures! Must have been pretty scary driving those California freeways after enjoying the two laners of the Big Sky Country. Thanks for sharing your pictures, the kids will remember that trip forever!

Nathan, looks like a good trip. I see you brought your Shepherd with you. What did you do with him while you were away from the trailer? We too have a large Shepherd and are leaving for Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore in two weeks and are debating on whether we are going to take him with us. Thanks

Nice pix!!! my hubby would love that museum! It does deserve more than just a room though.....and without the "in between" vacations, we wouldn't look forward TO the vacations...( well, I try to tell myself that)

Wow! Looks like you 'live' where most campers dream of vacationing.

Great vacation shots, thanks for sharing. Sounds like you are a very popular Dad with your children taking them to Diseny Land.

he stayed in the camper with my two other dogs. we walked them before we left for disney for the day and they were sure ready to go out when we got back, but had no problems from them in the camper. last year on the same trip the shepherd was only 6 months old and he ate the carpet in the master bedroom, but hes outgrown that now.
