...and don't tell them when you're gonna show up so they don't scurry out and air the rig out just prior to your arrival.
Last few posts have been good advice. Let them treat it, then consider a deal.
Just who does a dealer think will buy a coach with those odors? I could see trying to sell an RV with smoke smell... a smoker wouldn't mind, and might buy. But even pet owners don't want that smell.
FWIW if you ever end up with a pet "accident", the most effective thing I've found is Nature's Miracle. It's an enzymatic solution. Not cheap, but it does work. At 14 and a half, Beth is a bit incontinent these days and has had a couple of accidents in the MH. We keep a spray bottle of Nature's Miracle in the sink cabinet, spray down the accident, blot with a towel, and go about life. If you have widespread problems, run the Nature's Miracle through an extraction carpet cleaner. Never had a dog odor it didn't deal with.... can't speak to cat odors, though.

Why is it that almost every Advert for an RV states No Pet /Smoke Odors! Yet almost Everyone We Meet RV'ing has a Dog or Cat or Several? The Numbers just don't Add Up!
I have nothing against people who have Pets, nor do I automatically Dislike Folks who Must Smoke! But Please Don't expect Me to buy Their Used Vehicles!
And There is No Possible way that Anyone can get rid of the Stink Permanently! You May Mask it for a while But It Will eventually come back.

Pet urine on carpet soaks into the subfloor and the only way to remove the smell is to remove the carpet, treat the subfloor a couple ot times over a period of days and install new carpet. If the dealer/seller isn't going to do this, pass on the sale.
I managed a few hundred apartments for a couple of years and I can tell you that even professional carpet cleaning WITH enzymes can not eliminate the odor of pet urine.
If it is just a "doggy" smell it is due to oil from the dogs' skin which can be eliminated by thouroughly washing every surface and fabric with a detergent that degrades the skin oils.
From years of experience, my personal favorite cleaner is Mr. Clean and depending on the strength used, requires rinsing every surface with clean water. It is very time consuming.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that unit just isn't for you. If they could get rid of the smell, like the poster above me stated, they would have done so already.

Wrong! My rig was owned by smokers - 2 of them. The fuzzy ceiling was cleaned as was the entire rig with some special process and just had a slight smoke smell (I don't smoke and can smell it) when I bought. The minor smell got me a couple thousand off the price, though.
Six months later and now 4 years later it has NO smoke odor and I didn't do anything but live in it and drive it with lots of windows open during good weather. My friends don't smell it either.

Your Nose has adjusted there is still an odour!
Leave Your rig Closed up tight for 2 Warm days in a row, then Open the door!
Like I said they can Mask the Odor ,but it will still come back!
robatthelake is absolutely right. Either the initial smell was very, very minor, or your nose has just adjusted to it. Being a car dealer I know that nothing, and I mean nothing, can permanently get rid of smoke odor. Taking robatthelake's suggestion one step further, leave your RV closed up, on 2 rainy or ultra-high humidity days, then ask somebody who's not used to the rig to smell it. Sorry, over 25 years of trying to get rid of smoke odors in some of our trade-ins makes me somewhat of an expert in this field. But, if it's fine with you, just enjoy!
Why do they all claim, No Smoke, No Pets? Because when trading in a unit they tell the salesman that little lie. I can only speak to where I worked. If I wrote it that way, it got set up that way. If the trader told me it had pets, I wrote pets. If the trader had a pack of cigs in the pocket, smelled of smoke and then tells me they never smoked in the rig, I wrote down smoker. (yeah right, the stench doesn't follow you!)
As to removing the odor, it may go away for a little while, but a couple hot humid days it finds it's way back out.
Had one coach, just came in, cat hair all over the dash. I apologized for it, we hadn't sent it out yet, but cust assured me that they had plenty of animals, it would look like that in a day anyway!
Pet odor vs. pet urine odor. Big difference!
But to someone allergic, not a good thing.

Very true, but we were lucky in that the carpet pad Winnebago used had a very effective liquid barrier film that prevented anything getting through to the sub floor.
We had already bought the Kilz but didn't have to use it.

A lot of good suggestions but did you get a good look at the bare mattress, couch cushions, driver's/passenger's seat cushion. Buyer beware and I like dogs!
