Or just stop at an Auto parts store and hopefully they will scan it for you. AutoZone will do it, Complicated process to use it but ends up free. Then once you know what the code is decide how important, or clear it out and see if it comes back again. Sometimes can be as simple as gas cap wasnt tight.
The OP has a 600 HP CUMMINS DIESEL, no OBD port on it and any Autozone shop would laugh at you for bothering them!

Hi
I agree with the "have someone read the codes" school of thought. Mine went on but ran fine and I asked my regular mechanic what to do. He read it with a small box that plugged in. He said it was reading as not being in park when shut off but that the shift linkage was fine and park engaged well. He said he could tear out the steering shaft and locate the exact problem or I could Ignore it. Black tape is not recommended. If another problem develops that is critical the light will blink rather than being steady. Tape would hide this. The light resets after 25 restarts or when the battery is disconnected. If, however the light was concerning something in the engine control system I'd fix it because of gas mileage issues.
Update: We are now in Amana, made it without any problem. Same thing happened every day, started up with check engine light on and silver leaf locked up. Traveled for a couple of hours and stopped for a fuel. After fuel stop, light goes off, and silver leaf starts and returns to function normally. The error code on the silver leaf is: 411 0 3 egr diff prssr/high inactive. I can't find anything like this in the manuals I have but I will pass this along to the service staff here at the Country Coach rally. Thanks again for all the help.

I think the "Check Engine" light is designed to get your vehicle back to the dealer.
