I am looking for ideas for a small trash can that will fit our B and not take up much room yet still have a lid, but not have to set in the isle etc, We now use a plastic grocery bag hung on the navigators fold up arm rest, not very convenient. Don't want much?

Visit your local dollar store. They usually have all sorts of plastic containers there for cheap.

We use a small waste basket lined with Walmart bags that fits behind the front drivers side seat. It fills quickly so we get rid of trash frequently and inconspicuously. It also fits in the slide out connected to the sink for extra counter so I do not bend when I am making a meal and discarding plastic or veggie leavings. On occasion I tie garbage off, set aside and use waste basket upside down as a footstool for the passenger side seat that turns backward. Multitasking is what items in the B should do!

I reused a plastic container that originally held kitty litter. It's just the right size to be lined with a plastic grcery bag, and the lid closes tight to keep it from spilling. It also has a handle, so it's easy to move around.

I use plastic grocery bags as a bunch of them take very little room and you can toss them. I tie a knot on one side of the bag and it slides in to a plastic notch thingie that is usally used to hold up dish towells. Works great for me!

I prefer Target bags for garbage as the Walmart bags are cheap and flimsy. We use Walmart bags for cleaning the clumpable cat litter box, but you must look out for leaky bags. Shop in a higher class store and you get better garbage bags

bought a child's sandbox play set that had a plastic basket for the toys to fit in. Well the toys are in the garage and the plastic basket hangs from our side door handle. It is a plastic web like oval shaped basket. Works great and a plastic target, or walmart, or kmart bag fits in perfect. Cost was under $4.00

Marly, well said... 8-)
Here's one from Steve Martin. "The Maharajah Mahesh Yogi once told me to always use a litter bag in the car. It doesn't take up much room and when it gets full you can just toss it out the window."

If you're handy, recycle a coffee can, or any other tin can which meets your size requirement. Take some material of your choice. old wallpaper, etc. and glue it on the outside. Wa - la! You have a unique, customized, trash handling device, (trash can) to your personal liking.

(I think the last time I did something like that was in elementary school art class)!

My wife hangs a WalMart bag on the closet door with a wire twister. Works for us, we empty it frequently.
