Butt ..... They said they would try to help me locate the parts.
I need a fender flair for an 05 Rage'n FA3005 because the cheep stock china tire took it out when it blew out ........
Anyway I was just wondering what is going on and what this means for us WW and Rage'n owners??
I hope this post does not violate RV. Net's rules.
I just got off the phone with Mark and he has said that they have NOT filed BK and Giant RV has not bought them. BUT, he did say that all these rumors have been very bad for business, that these rumors are part of the reason WW is having some of their problems. All I care about actually is getting my FS2500 back this week like they said they would.

I don't know if they filed BK or not but I'm willing to bet everything I own that Mark wouldn't tell you if they did because THAT would be bad for business as well.
Kind of like every pro sport where you hear the GM say that he has complete confidence in his manager/coach and he's gone within a week.

That's hilarious...rumors of closure have been very bad for business...maybe refusing to honor warranties might have a little to do with it! lol
No way in Hell I'd buy a trailer in the middle of a warranty "hiatus".

I may buy a new one now. I see it an opportunity to get a good price. I might be able to get a supplemental warranty, through the dealer, as part of the deal.

I have no clue how a supplemental warranty works, but we purchased an extended warranty when we bought our warrior, and half of the problems we had after the manufacturer warranty ran out were covered, half weren't...so, "IF" warrior went belly-up, and there were no manufacturer warranty, and you had to rely solely on the extended warranty we had, if your air conditioner quit, you'd be covered...however, if your wall de-laminated and peeled off of the side of the coach while driving down the road, too bad so sad...so if you go this way, read the extended warranty VERY carefully.
Personally, I would gladly rather have paid for our A/C, and had the wall de-lamination and corresponding structural failure covered, but that's just me.
I'm not trying to tell you not to buy a warrior, just make sure without a doubt what kind of warranty coverage you're going to have...and this is of the UTMOST importance...get in writing EXACTLY what their "Lifetime" structural warranty actually covers.

I do have an extended warranty from a 3rd party company, but im not sure how it works since I have not had to use it yet, BUT the problem I have with all the WW problems and rumors is, my trailer is at WW for warranty repairs and was supposed to be finished yesterday and shipped out today and delivered to my house on Thursday. I have been calling them for two days now leaving messages trying to find out if it is still on schedule and I cant seem to get anyone to call me back.

Actually for those of you thinking of buying a new WW it really probably is a pretty good time to get a awesome deal on one. I wouldn't worry too much about not having a warranty given the fact that a WW warranty was pretty much garbage anyway(at least that's how I was treated). If it was me I'd have a discussion with a dealer I felt comfortable with and start at 50% off list with my negotiations. It could be a great deal in the end. Most of the trouble your going to have is going to be minor stuff and probably not worth the hassle of taking it in for warranty anyway. Just stay away from the known models with the frame troubles and you'll probably come out smelling pretty good.

Giant RV & WW have been "sleeping" together for many-many years. Giant could possibly be some of the reason for WW's recent issues.
If ww did declare bk it doesn't necessarily mean they will disappear. Quite possibly they will re-organize.
