Our son was only 9 days old when he went out on his first camping trip. Our daughter was 11 days old. Daughter is now six and son is now 12, they have survived. Just make sure you have all the stuff you will need to make them comfortable, ac when it is hot or heat when it is cold.

emaav has me beat...we took our oldest when she was just six months...and we were tenting at the time. No problems. My 2nd would have only been about a week old her 1st outing..again tenting...but the Mrs. was in a car accident that initiated the labor. Nobody was hurt in accident but she wanted to stay close to doctor "just in case"...so that trip was cancelled.

We took our first GB out when she was 2 1/2 months. We are going to take the second out the same. As mentioned. Pack with care. Take all they need, little tents to keep the sun off, and what ever else you need.

We took our youngest out when he was 4 weeks old. In my opinion, RVing is the best and only way to travel with infants and young children. It was also a comfortable way for my wife to travel since she had a C-Section and needed comfortable lodging and travel. Our Motorhome sure fit the bill. As long as you have all of the necessities (feeding gear, pack-n-play, medical supplies, etc.) you will have a great time.

We took all three of ours out when they were a couple of months old. Now 3,6 and 8 were still going strong with no signs of slowing up.
