We have recently purchased a 24' Okanagan Eclipse, which we are extremely happy with and we also have a 12' older ( and heavy) aluminum boat which fits fine on the boat carrier we have but does anyone have plans or ideas for a method of getting the boat onto the carrier. The carrier frame is factory built with 1 3/4" aluminum pipe and I would like some method of lifting the boat onto the carrier, possibly using pulleys,rope,etc but have no idea as to how to begin building a workable system.
I have seen systems that work well but they include the carrier frame and all I need is the apparatus to lift the boat up onto my carrier.
Anyone have a plan for me?
there was an outfit from Montana I believe that used to advertise in motorhome, etc. that had an automatic loader. perhaps someone can remember who that was.
