we currently have a 24' class C but momma says we should get a bunk house. We have 4 kids and its hard to find a vehicle big enough to tow behind the rv. Here is the question? Which companies have the best bunk house for the money. momma wants it to sleep 6 with out having to break down the table or couch. We have an excursion so I believe we can tow up to 10,000. V-10, 4.30 gears.

Jayflight 32BHDS

I tow a Jayflight 31BHDS (so I'm partial to Jayco's) with a V10 4.30 geared Excursion...I've made some slight modifications to my Ex's suspension that REALLY have improved things.

I've towed 17,000+ miles and counting in the last 3 years with this Excursion thru all parts of the country...the Ex 'can' be an incredible TV...but also can be a handful...the Hensley don't hurt either!

The TT I linked to above will sleep 6 (including you and your wife) without folding tables down...

Good luck and let me know if I can help in any way.

Joe.

There are a lot of floorplans out there that will fit your needs. The Ex is all the TV you need for almost any TT on the market today, so just take your pick!

There a lots of nice quad bunks available now. We've really enjoyed our Pilgrim 5'er. Here's link to Pilgrim 1500 TT floorplans. The 28PQB abd 29PQBC are both quad bunks with 2 of them being wider than typical for older kids. When looking at bunks, be sure to check the width and length on the bunks.

The Keystone product line has a few out there.
I had a Cougar with 2 beds in the back. We used it 14 times in 10 months. I have seen a Cougar withe same floorplan but with the quad bunks. It's nice and price is fair.
Good luck. Happy camping!!

Most TT manufacturers have a model with quad bunks in the rear. TT's with 2 slides are also nice (like the Jayco 32BHDS link from crappie fisherman), but they usually run a few thousand dollars more than the quad bunk models. I think quad bunks are a little easier to find if you are looking for a used one (at least in NJ), since I assume the 2 slide models haven't been around as long. of course it also depends on how much money you can spend!

Have the Keystone Outback 30 BHQ with quad bunks; thought about the Courgar 29 BHS but the weight was less with the Outback + the Outback had overall better numbers: Fresh water: 50 gals vs 45; Grey and Black tanks: 40 gals each vs 28 gals. LP capacity: same; weight = 5975 lbs vs 6085. TT is a Chevy Silverado crew cab.

Good luck in your research.

Check out the Puma brand. They have a couple of diffent layouts with quad bunks. From what I hear they are pretty well built.
