Let me start by saying I am new to RV.NET. I have searched for my answer with no luck. I have an 06 2500HD w/6" lift. I am looking to purchase a Toy hauler in the very near future. I would like a fifth wheel hauler. I am leaning toward the Keystone Raptor 3612 or 3712. I already know you can lift the trailer by various methods depending on the type of trailer. My concern is once the trailer is lifted will there be an issue when loading my motorcycle. The motorcycle has very low ground clearance and I am concerned primarily about the peak of the ramp where it goes into the compartment. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do. I have looked into Kelderman Air-ride lifts for the trailer which would allow on the fly lift and lowering capabilities but it is expensive. I want the best way to handle this problem with the least amount of effort at the time of load and un-load. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue with my toy hauler the axles were flipped. and the angle was to steep at the hinge point.
my solution was to put a small hand crank trailer jack on both sides of the ramp about 3/4 of the way back this lifts the ramp about a foot off the ground then I put a 5 foot Alum. portable ramp secured with ratcheting tie down straps on the end of the ramp makes for a cheap and easy fix. not very quick takes about 10 mins. to set up and 10 mins to take down but it works.
I do not have any pictures yet but I will soon.
Hope this helps.
have a great day.

Pull the TH on to 4" or 6" blocks. Open the tail gate then you should be able to see if the clearance is to much.

Let's see, you are going to put a min of 2700 hitch weight in 2500Hd, which is overloading it. To top that off, the truck has been lifted 6" which makes it less stable. Then you want to lift the trailer.
Now your main concern is will the bike go inside?

OK, let's tackle the heart of the issue...
A 3/4 ton truck with a 6" lift will not go well with a ~14k lb trailer.
I know it's not the question you asked, but it's the answer I've given.

I had to lift my KZ for more clearance on my F350. I put a trike up the ramp. I can have clearance problems depending how our trailer sits. I carry a 2x6 along with me to put under the front wheel when the clearance get close. If you know anything of trikes you know they are usually very low to the ground. You should be able to get your bike in the trailer but it could be very close. If you can put a piece of 2x6 right in front of the rear wheel as you get closer to the top of the ramp. Now as to the raise trailer and truck enough was said above.

You will usually get answers from like this from people who like to drive an overloaded vehicle, and worse yet, suggest others do the same.
A Raptor has too much pin weight for a 3/4 ton truck.
The lift raises COG and further reduces safe load. If he has a 6" lift, he probably has oversized wheels and tires which most likely have great traction and look sharp, but have a lower load rating than stock tires.
Just simple math and common sense.

Plus the oversize tires are not likely up to carring the extra weight, there are added stresses on the driveline to to weight of trailer being pulled and angle of driveshaft, etc etc.
But to the original question. My wife rides a lowered Sportster. Even on our old Work and Play which was LOW, we had trouble dragging the frame.

I have over sized tires which has great traction, looks sharp and are "E" rated. Toyo makes a 35" and 37" tire in an "E" rating.
Just simple research and using the right items on your truck.
