Wow, after 4 days of draining the pool, the morning to clean it and the rest of the day to fill it (using 2 hoses), adding salt & chlorine today....I think tonight we can finally use it again. Oh forgot to mention, $600 new cell, $350 new filters (4 total), $90 in salt & stablizer which should be done every 3-4 yrs.

This is the only reason the summer here in Az. is tolerable...

Can I go camping now???

THAT is the reason we never had a pool when our kids used to beg and whine for one.

not sure what your problem was with your pool, but we have had above ground and inground pools for over 35 years and never had any problem with it with the proper maint.. never had to drain a pool to clean it..
added clorine daily, shock once a week and some algicide and baking soda to keep the PH right. vacum once a week(which i love to do on sunday mornings with coffe) and thats about all we ever did for 35 years and never a problem. would never want to be without one.

Our in ground is almost maintenance free. We use Pristine Blue instead of chlorine. Add that and shock every two weeks and keep the Ph balanced. I also bought a Tracker 4x pool cleaner. I put that in once a week and that's about it. Opening this year went smoothly too. Water was pretty clean and clear.

I do feel for you. Last year our cover had a hole in it and the water was green as antifreeze. But we got through that too.

We have used this stuff for the past 3 years and it truly is magic for us! We use it once a week all year and our pool stays healthy and clear...amazing stuff...your pool can be green and within 30 mins - 1 hour it's sparkling again...we have trees near and over the pool so we were fighting a constant battle of green water...

we have no interest in this company but love the product a lot!

I have a salt sytem too. It is great, no chlorine smell. Maintenance is easy but I still have a pool girl come once a week to do the general maintenance

We have a pool and as long as I don't forget about it for a few minutes each week it stays in good shape. I am the one that uses it all the time, especially since the kids are older and don't attack me when I go into the pool.

I have some friends that have a robot that periodically cleans their pool. He said that it really makes a difference. It is made by the same people that make the Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner.

The happiest day of your life is the day you get a pool. The second happiest day is when you get rid of the pool.
