Hi new here, Kathy and Ron from Mesa Az. Just wanting input and will get shot down surely but oh well we have to ask. We are wanting to know what small light weight trailer used size 18 to 25 foot would we be able to look at under 12 thousand that would hold up to full timing for a three year period allowing us to upgrade then. We are on a budget and need advice from experienced workampers on this. We wish we could afford a nice big fancy rig but cant and are small people under 5ft8in under 180 pound early fifties. If you can shoot some models makes and year suggestions our way we woudl greatly appreciate it. We just have to look budget conceous now to get to live our dream after caring for my mom dying of alzheimers three years this is our dream to see country working different areas till we find a place we like to settle as we want out of the desert in mesa az for good.
thank you all

Right now with the gas prices it is a buyers market and I would think you could find quit a selection in that 10 12 range. Just google RV trailer for sale.

WE are in the market for the exact same thing! Although there are 4 of us and we plan on living in it 3-6 monhs and there are quite a few out here. Try looking on RV trader online. Google RV dealerships in your area and look on craigslist. I have been finding a decent amoung in the under 10k range that 2000-2003 model years for the most part!

Well, let's start out with the basics... what do you plan on towing this trailer with? That is going to be a big factor in determining what you are going to be able to tow!

we dont have a tow vehicle yet but will get a 3/4 ton vehicle is what we will get either truck, van or suv in that size. another issue is that we need to find something that is capable of keeping cool in the desert heat even if small it has to stand up to the heat in mesa arizona

If you post this in the travel trailer room, you'll get a lot more responses to it. Good luck.
