We have a TT with a fiberglass skin. A few months ago I noticed a gap in some caulking near the roof. I couldn't get to it then and put some white duct tape over it. Of course, the sun baked the tape onto the skin and left a terrible mess. What's the best thing to remove it?

You might try Goo Gone which is good for taking off those messy paper labels.

Since I have both of those items on hand, I'll try them both! Thanks!

This would be my suggestion to.
Another thing that works is hairspray. You just spray on the residue and scrub with paper towels. We used to use it at the store to remove glue form price tags when they got dirty or the price went up.

I haven't tried these things yet but I must mention that the residue is not gooey, but is baked on and dry. I'll let you know how both WD-40 and Goo-Gone work.

Maybe some simple green and a brush if the wd-40 doesn't do it... Just be careful of the paint...

You might want to try cooking oil. Totally nontoxic and can soften and remove many such things.
