Nice Blue Tongued Skink.

If you try to catch one by grabbing the tail, you'll have a wriggling tail in your hand while your friend the Skink, makes a quick escape. I learned that when I was 10.

I brought it back to my family's trailer (Shasta).

We put the Skink in the sink....kind of a Dr. Seuss line.

Also the tail. We then let the Skink, sans tail, loose. The tail, we gave a nice burial.

Conjugated, it is Skink, Skank, Skunk.
