Our Company owns a 30 ft Dynamax. The front engine deisel is loud. It does not have an air suspension and rides like a UHaul truck. Your model may be different. Have you taken a test ride yet?

Yes I know it is a Class C, I don't know everyone keeps telling me that. What I want to know is had anyone had any problems, warranty issues, and buld quality. I want better qaulity than Tiffin ao we are looking real ahed at a dynamax. Thanks for any help.
If you are looking for better quality, check out Newell, Foretravel will build it the way you want it and last but not least Prevot.

I drove the 340XL and when it comes time to get rid of the class A to downsize this is the only coach I will consider in the class C category. IT IS A WONDERFUL COACH! The fit and finish is in the category of a country coach, very solid and well put together. It handled wonderfully and was very aerodynamic and gives a great ride. The XL line does have air ride and you will love the "air ride" captains seat. This also has the 22.5 inch tires, larger engine than the 30ft. model listed above I believe.
Yes, it is a little louder up front than the rear engine diesel but nothing that was a deal breaker for me. The ceiling height is lower and it is tight when the slides are in but the living room slide goes out very far and adds plenty of room when in a campground. I even traveled to the factory to look at a demo last year and was very impressed. GO FOR IT.....YOU LUCKY GUY.
I wish the market for class A's where better right now because I would own one by the winter if I could get a decent price on my vectra.

The only real problems were not Dynamax's fault (loud fan belt, fixed by Freightliner; and computer failure on the HWH hydraulic jack and slide-out system, quickly fixed by HWH). There were other minor bugs to be worked out. This is our second Dynamax product, and warranty issues are easily and willingly handled by Dynamax. I tried out Dynamax units years ago, and the earlier diesels were loud and rough, but the newer diesels are much quiter and the ride and handling are suberb. Our mileage exceeds 10.5 mpg. I hope this helps you.

We own Dynamax Dynaquest 302 with the Mercedes engine. It has been the best built coach we have owned. Service from the factory is outstanding and we average 11-13 MPG. The diesel up front is not loud and we have air bag suspension in the rear with air ride seats. Ride quality is super. If you want to downsize, this is the coach for you if want quality.

Freightliner changed from Mercedes to Cummins in mid '07 for emission reasons. I think our Dynamax was one of the last units with a Mercedes. I specifically wanted a Mercedes because of power, efficiency, and the compression brake in addition to the exhaust brake.

we bought a dynamax grand sport 34 (M-2 chassis) in '06 and were nothing but thrilled with it. A couple of months ago, we made a deal for a new Country Coach Intrigue 45 because we wanted a little more space. After having the CountryCoach for a few months I can say the Dynamax is the absolute BEST rig we've ever owned. The handling is so far superior to anything else i've ever driven. The CountryCoach on the other hand is very comfortable inside and quiet to drive but we've had quite a few problems with it (some of which still have not been fixed correctly). Fortunately we were planning on selling the Dynamax privately and it did not yet sell. We will be selling the CC instead because we like the Dynamax that much better (even aside from the problems with the CountryCoach). Its a rig that we can drive almost anywhere and its easy and relaxing to drive.

I have heard this same comment from many past Dynamax owners. A bit "small" compared to the A's but the quality, reliability and ride where superior. I am going to be looking for a Dynamax myself over the next 6 months or so. It will all depend on selling the Vectra and like many that could be an ugly situation right now.
I've driven Dynamax and like the XL chassis over the "light duty" or "medium" chassis and will most likely look for a 30' with a queen in the back and 2 slides. I also like the 302 but need to show that one to the DW to convince her it's not too small. Going from a 4 slide class A to the Dynamax is a big size change.....one that I will like and one my wife will have to get used to.

I believe that all Dynaquests and Dynasports are now built on the M2 Heavy chassis. The air bags tamed the ride. We also went from a Country Coach (with a tag axle) to a 340 Dynaquest XL and are happy with the change. It is so nimble and easy to drive. All coaches are a compromise to some degree, and for us this combo is suits us well.
