Looking for a campground in this rectangular area to park the 30'er for the summer and early fall. Looking for one that offers W, 50 amp and septic. This would give us a base to explore from (and escape the heat)and be just a days drive from home. Thanks in advance. B

We just did the Enchanted Circle "tour" in late May, and here is where DW and I unanamously voted we would go back to in a heartbeat. It's North of Las Vegas near Rociada.

Rociada, NM.

They have a nice mix of well kept seasonals and what appears to be good management and plenty of activities. The place was orderly and clean and QUIET and there is a beautiful golf course across the valley.

Pandaries RV Resort.

Beautiful country..

Actually, you're talking about a pretty large area. Are you sure you want to use ONE place as basecamp?

We've stayed at Santa Fe Skies (Santa Fe) and Cottonwood Campground (Espanola). Cottonwood is nothing special, but served as a good base for that area. It had full hook-ups, 50 amp and was inexpensive (2002).

No cg suggestions, but when you're in the Espanola area you might want to eat at Angelina's.. That is if you can get in.. Extremely good, inexpensive and well liked by the locals..We just stayed a week at Ghost Ranch north of Abiquiu and I would suggest staying in the Espanola area as it is more central...

I don't take PM's... sorry.

We were in space 30 right across from the rec center. As I mentioned in my review, I didn't check with the office since it wasn't a big deal for us at the time.

Have fun...
