Hey guys,

I'm wondering what the issue could be with my fuel station pump. I noticed the last trip out that the first liter or so of fuel is coming out orange. Almost looked like orange pop. I have a cover over the nozzle to prevent any dust from getting in there. I was thinking that it could be rust in the pump itself but that sounds unlikely as it's designed for fuel.

Any thoughts?

The color comes from fuel sitting in the rubber hose from the pump to the nozzle......mine has always done it after I have not used the fuel station for a while!

Interesting. Any harm in using the orange fuel? I guess I'll just throw the first liter into the pressure washer. A lot cheaper then the toys!

I'd try to prevent it from happening in the first place if you can. Try turning off the fuel station, and lifting the hose up to drain what is left in the hose. Might want to keep a 2 gallon can around for such a purpose.
