ThermaCell is a nice product at keeping mosquitos and black flies away. Just bought one and can verify it works.

We were sitting outside at my in-laws when the mosquitos started to come, I grabbed my ThermaCell, turned it on, and within 10 mins, there were none around us and no bites.

The ThermaCell creates a 15 foot radius. It does work and if you look at their website, the military uses this stuff as well.

Avoid sweet foods and do NOT use flower scented cologne, hairspray or deoderant. (BTW - this last week I was getting eaten up....then remembered my deoderant is melon scented )

I found VICKs Salve is great for stopping the itching.

Best way is to stay inside at the worst times. That would be when the sun reaches tree level and until dark.

My Wife uses this and says it works.. She just jogs around where we will be sitting and sprays it around. I can honestly say that i didn't notice any mosquitoes after that, but I wasn;t really taking note of it either.
