This isn't a commercial but I've found something that has led me to stop smoking after 60 years of puffing on those stupid cigarettes... At least I've been off those dang things for 9 days and I've never gotten past a full day until I ran across a product called COMMIT which I bought at WALGREENS...It's an over the counter smoking aid that, for the first time, has stopped my craving to smoke and puff on those darn things...Granted, it's only been 9 days without smoking but I think I have my problem solved...Only time will tell but I'm off to a good start...Since I've never quit for more than one day in the past I'm confident I can stay off them and breathe a breath of fresh air for a change...The snow man...
The beatiful MONSTER that takes my wife and I anywhere we want to go...2005 Jayco granite ridge...Overhead entertainment center, slide out, and a snowmobile trailer that pulls 2 four wheelers in the summer and 2 snowmobiles in the winter..Life is great!

Congrats go out to you! My wife has been taking "Chantex" (I think that's how it is spelled) for the past 10 days and she said it takes the urge out of "wanting" or "needing" a smoke. She has been smoke free for 8 of those 10 days. They told her to keep smoking for the first week while the "medication" kicks in.
Congrats to you and I wish you many years of "smoke free" fun and camping!

I too am on the road to quitting! It's been 27 days for me! I started out taking Chantix and had to stop in the middle of the second week and start weaning myself off. I have a history of depression and the combination of nicotine withdrawal and the medicine itself was making me EXTREMELY agitated. I went back on Zyban/Wellbutrin and all is well in my world.
Way to go Snow man and Sandy!! I wish you both all the luck in the world to quit this nasty habit/addiction WE acquired!

When I am away from work I do not smoke at all, 4 day camping trip without even a thought of smoking. But right when I get to work its like a switch goes off. But i am slowly working my way off of smoking.

Keep it going, I stopped three years ago, two to three pack a day man. Had some major surgery done and spent a week on O2 recovering. Went in a few months ago for surgery again, and never even saw the O2 hose. I can now do back trails, climbing and not have to stop to breath every hundred steps or so. Beleave me, You'll feel a lot more best est in few months.
Note: I still miss them but I think my grand children would mess me more. Bill

Lifetime, three pack-a-day smoker here, quit several times, ten years ago got serious so quit caffeine and alcohol and cigs the same time. The caffeine and alcohol were triggers. When I got nervous or jittery, would walk the dog, which we had just coincidentally got, but turned into great therapy. The dog got walked a lot.
I still drink some but not like I did in my youth.
We just buried my wifes siter, 51, lung cancer.
Good luck quitting.
My Kharma ran over my Dogma.
