I received one group 24 battery with my Roo and plan on upgrading to two 6 volts and a generator as my DW begins to appreciate more solitude campgrounds.

had to buy a size 24/12v from the dealer, wasn't included in the price. but the price was good enough on the trailer.
i plan to upgrade to 2 6v golf cart batteries, in the future, when the original one dies.
i did buy a honda 2000 generator to use at state parks.

A 24 was inc in price, took a credit because I knew I was getting two 6 volt trojans. Great mod, lots more juice if you dry camp much.

Our Coyote came with one group size 24 and we added a second one to the trailer. I'm really glad we did because depending on how much we use our heater we can go about 8 days dry camping. We plan to add solar panels to the roof to keep a trickle charge on the batteries.
One of our last trips we took we had to use the heater every night and drained both batteries by night 6.

Most campers come with a single "group 24" battery. The battery is rather small if you do alot of "dry" (no electricity) camping. Larger 12V batts are available (group 27, 29, 30, or 31) or you can wire together 6V golf cart batteries to provide significant increase in the usable amp hours.
You need to evaluate how often you dry camp, in what type of climate (heater required? = lots of amp hours), usability of other options (generators or solar panels) with the costs and weight penalties involved with each option.
This has been discussed ad nauseum and a search will render excellent results.
Best of luck!
P.S. Why 2 identical posts?
