While closing the slide out the seal peeled off at the top about 2 feet. Is there a special secret method in putting this "THING" back on? So far it's been a real problem! And I'm still not sure how I'm going to glue it, if I do get it back on !
You signature doesn't say what type of camper you have, but about 1 foot of my slideout seal came undone on my jayco 2 weeks ago. I used two very narrow plastic putty knives to slide the rubber seal under the strip of metal zipper (for the lack of a better explaination) that hold everything in. After you are able (positive thinking) to reattach the rubber, spray the entire seal with rubber slide out seal conditioner. It will help the seal both do its job and lubricate it during slide movement. I thought my slideout had a leak but after I sprayed the seal, not even a hint of moisture has been see since! Just my thought. Good Luck and Drive Careful!!

This happen to us the first time we used our new fiver. I used my fingers to work it back in, but it wouldn't stay. I took it back to the dealer and in our case the problem was glue had filled up the groove for the seal and had to be removed, and the seal re-glued. Used the rig all winter and it worked great. Not sure if your is new or not, but that's what happen to us.

Use weather stipping adhesive available at any auto parts store or walmart. It is designed to hold the rubber to the metal and it does a GREAT job of it. Make sure the seal is where you want it when you use it.
