I got this recipe off the internet years ago and have been making them in my dutch oven and thought I would try it in my pie iron. It turned out great. The peanut butter is optional.
Enjoy! Debbie

They look absolutely sinful! Thanks for posting. I would say I would try to make one, but the diet thing pretty much rules that out. I can, however, drool on the keyboard!

Debbie, what a great idea? Okay, you've piqued my interest, what about the DO recipe? Would you share?

I see my RV & diet buddy Steve has chimed in. Steve we will be able to make these later on.

We call those Smacos (smores + tacos). Very popular with the kids, both big and little.

Here is how I make them in my dutch oven.
Enjoy! Debbie

Wipe the bottom of your dutch oven with vegetable oil, just enough to just see a light film. I use a paper towel.

Lay in the bottom of the dutch oven a soft flour tortilla. Top tortilla with a handful of chocolate chips, peanut butter and a handful of mini-marshmallows.

Place dutch oven over coals, I use about 6 to 10 coals.

Cover dutch oven with lid for a couple minutes or until tortilla is golden brown on the one side. Remove lid, using tongs fold the tortilla in half, making it into a taco shape.

Cover for another minute. Remove lid and remove tortilla to a plate to cool for a few minutes before eating.

You can also spread peanut butter, marshmallows, chocolate chips on a tortilla, roll them up and wrap in foil. Throw in fire and flip over few times.
