I live around 1 HR south of Nashville,TN. Looking for ideas on a one week trip. It doesn't all have to be at one place. Maximum total travel distance is no more than 5 hrs from home. No kids, love the outdoors, like gatlinburg & smokies, don't like the beach. Help me out some!

Fall Creek Falls State Park (TN) Pickwick Landing State Park (TN)Mocassin Creek SP (GA)........Tennesee and Kentucky have some of the nicest state parks in the nation. Surely it can't be that hard to find a place to go.

I second Fall Creek Falls State Park, TN...Also Desoto State Park in Alabama...Fort Mountain State Park, GA and Cloudland Canyon State Park, GA
