Well, let's see --

Cottonwood is a bit on the run down side, no resident manager, frequently has a good number of long term folks with their associated belongs ... just doesn't give you that feel good feeling.

Cadillac on the other hand is always clean and tidy, the restroom and showers are immaculate, Charlie and Gaylon are exceptional owners/manager, sites are all pull through, with more than adequate spacing, with 30 and 50 amp service (voltage drops are minimal even when the park is full), free fishing in the pond (and it's sort of cool especially at sun up or sun down, and has Wifi that, for us, has always worked quite well (some have said it can be "spotty"). Our comment when we turn into Cadillac is, It's nice to be home again." It's always a treat for us after few days of dry camping in the area.

Oh, final comment, If you're up to seeing the sights in the area, talk to Charlie, she has a full list with descriptions and directions to some neat ruins.

Definitely Cadillac Ranch. Or, as I saw someplace in Colorado, "Cattle Lack Ranch".

We stayed at Cadilac Ranch last Sept. There's not much in town, but it is a great place to base camp for sight seeing. We took one day and headed south to Canyon de chelly, AZ. Took a tour down in the canyon wonderful. Next day we drove north west to Valley of the Gods, Mexican Hat. Third day we drove to Mounument Valley. The people at Cadilac Ranch are very friendly and helpful. They had a pond and little animals to view. We were glad we stayed their from a suggestion from here. Have fun. Deb
