Who here would consider two days to be short notice to go camping nearby?
Tried to talk husband into going up the canyon we like to camp at and go camping this weekend, but he told me it was short notice. Huh!
All we need to do is add water to tt, food, and clothes and go. How hard is that? It is to hot to stay home.

We have gone on a couple of hours notice several times, the trailer is always ready to go except for food and water and we can get that on the road

When we were still at home and working, I'd call my husband at work (he worked 4-12) on a Friday afternoon and tell him "don't go home, I'm at "blank" campground, meet me here when you get off"...

Can't get much shorter than that...he never complained, I was all set up when he got there!!!

Being a male, I have to side with your husband, being a viral male I will side with you, flip a coin. LOL.

I have the problem with my wife. I have to schedule a get away at least two weeks in advance and even that isn't enough notice. Oh well. Bill

I'm in the Load up and Go Category, DW however wants some advance notice. One trip we went to meet up with Brother and sister in law about 5 days notice and she was mad for the first night. Calmed down on saturday, but not a real fun Friday night. Brother and sister in law are like me, will go on short notice. Son doesnt care.

I like kakampers idea, get a space up the canyon and call him up and say, "get your spare panties and come meet me." I haven't been back up quartsville way recently, but I have heard the spots going up to yellow-bottom are fewer and restricted. I don't suppose Waterloo is far enough for you You could always come over my way, Philomath, and hit Salmon berry or Black berry CG but with as warm as it is I suspect they will all be packed.

You got a good one!!! I'm going to have to try that and see how it goes.

A couple hours notice is pushing it. But we've left with a couple day's notice several times, no problems.

Anything less than two minutes would be short notice to me.....ask him; "how much notice would he like?"

If there are no conflicting plans, why would you need a lot of notice? 2 or 3 days? What are you going to do with all that "advance notice" time?
