...would anyone be interested in attending a rally next Memorial Day here in Michigan that will be geared towards family camping ?? We'd like to find other people that camp with their kids so we can have some activities for them and they can meet new friends too. We'd probably do a pot luck meal one night and hopefully a meet and greet on the first night. It won't be anything formal...just casual camping where we can kick back around a campfire and get to know each other. No 7:00am breakfast meetings...I promise
I am currently checking out campgrounds from Port Huron to Monroe so it would be somewhere in that general area. We'd like to get an idea of how many people would be interested so we know how to proceed.
Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon...

hey, movin on up's family would be interested. Monroe county koa is great for the kids. We camp there 3 to 4 times a year and have our family reunion there every july. Last year kids made can holders. this year kids will take treasure hike and make picture frames from the items that they find on their hike. also kids take white t-shirts and decorate with fabric markers. very kid friendly park.

For the record I didn't agree to the "no 7:00 am breakfast meetings" rule. I was hoping to do the meet and greet then. If you want we can push it back to 7:30, I will try and be flexible.

Ok Mr. Co-host....YOU can lead all of the early risers meetings you want. I suppose this means you will be going to bed at dusk as well ??
Personally, I enjoy sleeping in on the weekends !! I will be staying up a little later for a fire too and maybe we can get some cards going. This is Michigan....everyone knows how to play Euchre, right ?? LOL
My kids by then will be 14,12 and 8 for those that asked.
