How Masculine Or Feminine Does Your 'B' Appear?
"Back in the old days, men were taught to be assertive and to refrain from showing emotion while women were taught to be submissive and lady-like. These days, just as it is ok for a woman to enjoy monster truck rallies, it is not unforgivable for a man to shed a tear once in a while. Masculine and feminine traits are not set in stone anymore, and a well-rounded person has a combination of the two traits".
After you've put the 'personal touch' into your 'B'... ...Where does it fall on the scale of masculine and feminine?...
FYI...I consider 'Roadhouse' to be 'MACHO'

One Ton Ford E350 with limited slip differential and heavy-duty towing package ... It's a BOY!
This year at the B rally, tires, rims, and wheel wells got caked with mud, making the SMB look extra manly . Being the 4WD wannabe that I am, I drove around for several weeks afterwards with the mud on for the "look." Ha!

Due to the fact that I always considered my GWV Classic Supreme to be decidedly Feminine... (and there was not a frill or flowery fabric to be seen)...
I think we should also ask Dr Phil if we are just projecting our own self-image onto our RV.

Not really what you're asking...but just to set the record straight.
All domestic full-size vans are boys. They are born that way and no matter how many girly things you put in/on them, they are still boys. Some are tougher than others, but all domestic full size vans are boys!
Mini-vans are all girls. No matter how tough you make them look, they are still girls. Some might be considered tomboys...but girls none the less. Not many mini-van B's out there, but if you have one, just peek up it's skirt. No full frame? It's a girl.
Sprinters on the other hand are more ambiguous. Definitely boys...but kind of a euro metrosexual type boy. Even the ones hauling freight, tryin' to look all masculine, just don't have it.
Of course all these B's are free to excercise their own judgement, experimenting with whatever gender they may prefer. Lots of 1/2 tons, or underpowered full-size vans, seem to stuggle with their identity. Saw an old Ford E-350 once with flowers painted all over it. Sure enough...6cyl, 3 on the tree.
Don't get me started on the gender of pick-up trucks. It's far more complex. Someone mention Dr. Phil...?

Decidely masculine... not many woman would want to be seen even NEAR it. Even the "curtains" (factory sunshade is more like it) are boy. My DIY additions don't confuse the issue either, no pink, no frills, no beads. It's a BOY!
(By the way, loved the essay on van gender, and I agree!)
The map shows the states my wife and I have driven (or camped) in together.

Welll... this rather confirms my thought that many men don't know a real 'woman' when they see one.
Now where is LJZ to weigh in on the gender of her B...
(very funny firstimer!)
