My ADCO snooze bonnet for my PW has developed some extensive pink (as well as the regular black) mildew stains which have thoroughly penetrated the fabric. I don't think it is bird droppings or something similar since the 'pattern' matches the regular black mildew stains. I have tried Murphy's Oil Soap, Oxy-clean, laundry stain remover, and water to remove the stains, but to no avail. Does anyone have a 'magic bullet' to clean this vinyl (I presume) type of fabric? I have a front loading washer that is very gentle so I could try something in that. The stains are pretty much all over the cover so dealing with each stain would take until the end of time so I would prefer a soaking type of solution.

Thanks.

I use "Bleach White" and a brush. Auto parts stores carry it for tires.

I sent an e-mail to the ADCO folks to see what they suggested. Tried the Bleche-Wite - it worked great on the dirt, but the black and pink mildew spots still remain. I guess I'll say I'm supporting the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk with my wife. Pink is good.

thanks for the suggestions - I'll keep on trying.
