The 2nd Annual BSG Meeting will be April 20 - 24, 2009 at Bayou Wilderness RV Resort www.bwrvr.com . The cost is $25/night with the Rec/Meeting Hall included. It has a full commercial kitchen.
You can call and put your reservation in with no deposit. Just tell them this is for the "BEE Social Group".

Nice! We go to New Orleans every spring for the Crescent City Classic. Should the two events coincide, we'll go.

Wow! What a great place for a mini rally! The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will be the following 2 weekends, so it's also perfect timing...for anyone that wants to go to JazzFest (like me).

Looks like fun, Larry & Lory! Wonder if the campground has any nutria running around? I know they're considered pests, but I think they're kinda cool looking. Does anyone in your area keep them as pets? Perhaps this is a "Dippy Northerner" question?

qjane - Hey, that little guy "nutria" looks like a cousin to my WoodChuck . I caught 7 of them a couple years ago trying to live under my deck. One of them found his way back this year - how much am I offered for him as a pet?

Really like the BSG location and we will seriously consider being there. I spent 15 months in Houston, may have to swing through there along with Galveston.

I'm not sure about nutria, but there are a lot of other "CRITTERS" in the 2 ponds on the property. They have pictures of "Al E. Gator" in there.

Dates seem to work for us. So we will BEE at the LA LA BEE SOCIAL come April.

Thanks for setting this up. Looks very good and the weather should feel great for us Midwestern people...plus those that live further NORTH!!!

I had usually gone South about April 1st and then home again in May. This year I think we will go in March and head home in April. So this fits that to a "B" I mean a "T"!!!

We called and reserved. Be warned. The night staff did not have any information so I gave my name, phone number, dates and name of the group. I suppose they will sort it out tomorrow. If they don't call me back, I'll call them again.
