Okay, I take it now from all these posts the best thing to do is watch on RV.NET on "snowbirds" to find out what's happening from week to week and where?
Do you meet for Happy Hours at a park or at a central "bar'n grill" who has specials on happy hours and then find a place to eat? This sounds like it could be a party winter!

Again, as well as following the Snowbird forum, don't forget to pick up your weekly copy of "The Winter Texan" every Wednesday. Should be able to get a copy in the office at the park you stay at.

The Happy Hours are usually on your or another Winter Texans patio. Much planning & exchance if brilliant info occurs at these sessions.

I guess, I was mistaken.
I could have sworn all Happy Hours were at the Moderator's, just like he pays most bar tabs.
Oh well, I'll just follow Scottiemom to find the party

Pawatt,
When I pick up our new Margarator (the old one wore out) would you like me to get you one or two??
That little blender is not going to be big enough this year.
Let's get this party started!

Don P...where is Granny's Restaurant? We used to go the the Machete Cafe. Burgers aren't the best, but it's fun to take people there.
Sorry all...just finished reading the rest of the posts and found my answer. Thanks everyone for all the info I find on this site.

I may have to head back down in August to get in line for a burger or start a rumor that The Gonzales girls have a distant cousin that is a heart/cholesterol specialist that gets a commision on the burgers they sell. They are good and the onion rings are simply out of this world Ibut the wait is getting a bit out of hand. If they would only deliver. Maybe that is an option to the fellow that is looking for work camping. He could start a delivery service from Gonzales to where ever. They do it with pizza.
