Badly wired additional back-up light?

Assuming this is a 12 volt hot lead wire in the engine compartment it has an inline fuse of 25 amps. If I connect the wire to the #1 stud on the fuse box do I still need to put the 40 Amp fuse in the #1 stud space?

I'm going to take a closer look at the rear bumper area to verify the black wire is connected to the #4 terminalon the 7 way connector.

It is not connected so it does nothing. Finish the removal or abandon in place.

I found this switch to be for the light in the truck cap.
