Actually, our Jayco mattress is a split piece mattress held together by the mattress heater, so it never separates. Once we put the fitted sheet on it, it stays together very well, enough so that I can leave the sheet on it when folding it up to leave.
We only put the memory foam under the section of the bed that is lower, may have to look at getting a sheet big enough to do the whole bed, but we sleep pretty well on it to date.

We had the 3 inch memory foam topper in the back bed of our last hybrid we had for 4 years. We have a 1 inch memory foam on the bunk bed and also in the front queen tent end in the front of the trailer. It was great!
Now we have a fifth wheel with a queen bed and I have a 3 inch memory form in it.
Would not consider leaving home without my memory foam.
Happy camping.

Padlin wrote: Not having a Jayco, is the mattress actually 2 separate peices? Mine's a 2 peice but they are hinged together pretty tight, even before I bought the 3" memory foam I didn't notice the split. It was how ever too hard/thin to sleep on. The only bear about the memory foam is they don't exactly fold up nice and neat for storage. Half my floor space is taken up by just the one rolled up. Well, maybe not half but it's darn big. Of course who cares about storage as long as you can sleep.
We also have a 3 inch memory foam for our bed and we love it and we have a great way to store it----up and over the couch. It fits there perfectly and it is out of the way of going back and forth even when you are cleaning out and getting ready for the next trip. Hope this helps and that you can even do it. Give it a try!!!! Happy Camping!!!

We also have a 4" memory foam, mattress pad and a fitted sheet. When packing up, I fold the memory foam in two and place it on the back bunk bed. It is very comfortable and we have never had any issues of the mattress separating.

We have a three inch one in our Antigua. I was having a rough time sleeping on the bunk end as I was getting terrible back aches. Added the memory foam and I'm just fine now. Love it. We have to roll ours up and we tuck it in the dinette during travel. It's really not too much extra setup time for us to roll it out. Just an extra minute or so and it's worth it.
