Would I fill up at the dumping station then? I can bring up water to Arrowhead so I would just refill at Killbear.

Just wondering because we'll be at Arrowhead 5 days and Killbear 7 days. We'll probably need to refill at some point.

Essentially, what happens is the local board of health is not comfortable saying the water is fine so they say to boil it. All the provincial parks in Ontario have the same water quality standards that are handed down by the province and are tested all the time BUT the local board of health may require something even more stringent and therefore give the water a boil order.

when you pull in stop at the dump station and top up your tank,,,, bring a couple containers or buckets and carry it from the nearest water tap and fill your tank while your set up, 5 days at one and 7 at another I would say you will probley have to fill at least once midway at each depending on your usage and size of your tank. myself I have a custom made funnel for the tank fill port and 2- 2 gallon pails, depending on wether we use the park showers or our own a tank (32 gal.) we have to refill in as little as 2 days, so 8 trips to the nearest tap and its full, nice little bit of exercise. The next TT or 5er I get I might have a second tank installed underneith with a transfer pump, and just leave empty when traveling.

I'll have to come up with some type of funnel if I fill up using containers, but a good idea!
As far as filling up at the dump station, should I bring my "drinking water" hose?

Never ever fill up water at the dump station. They usually have a sign saying it is not potable water. Most of the provincial parks have a totally separate area that has a fresh water fill up station.
