A true philosophical viewpoint, however: Give me coffee in the morning and I can forgive almost anybody almost anything almost anytime.

It does seem to me that we are hardest on ourselves - remember some boneheaded thing you did as a kid and tell me you don't squirm at the thought! And chide yourself for being so dumb!

I've been going to get back at myself for some stuff I've done over the years......but have finally come to the conclusion that revenge is useless......

Have a good day!

I don't know. I have this BIL that's really challenging that theory.

I can think of many boneheaded things I did as an adult that make me squirm at the thought!

.....I was reminded of this last evening while talking with the 28 year old working on my house, he's trying to come back from being in the gutter. We were talking about our pasts, screwing up, wasting life.......he just broke down. Been there, I know that hurt and it's very painful to see others go through it. Losing his parents was very hard on this kid........
