When we went over the TOW, it was raining and we were above the clouds a good share of the time. If anyone has some good pictures of the scenery and ESPECIALLY of the sign that says, "Top of the World" near Dawson, I would sure appreciate you PM'ing them to me. Or PM me and I will give you my email address for them to be sent to.

Thanks a bunch.

Here are some TOW photos made with good weather. We came down from Fairbanks in July and took the Taylor HWY to Chicken and then the TOW to Dawson City. From Dawson we went to Carmacks and then to Whitehorse on the Klondike.

Coming up the Taylor

We met this fellow in his 1924 Model T Ford. He was from Iowa and had just come back from Inuvik. Wow!!

Post office at Chicken.

Chicken was a mining town that the founders named Ptarmigan, but nobody could spell it so they changed it to Chicken

TOW view of the rolling hills of Yukon Territory

Looking back to Canada Customs after crossing into YT

Yukon River Ferry. The visitors center told us about a woman who asked them, "Which side of the river do I have to be on to take the ferry?" Duh!
