Does anyone know what size bit is used for the screws that are used for attaching the fender flares and other things on the outside of the TT. Sure looks like A Torx head but A #10 is too small and A #15 too big, Thought the #1 square drive would fit but it dosnt. its A PITA working from the back of the screws with pliers.
Any help appreciated.

They are Robertson screws. More commonly known as square drive. Used in the RV industry for many years.

black and decker makes a kit with just about any bit you would ever need pick up a kit there not very expensive you wont be sorry you did.the kit has bits that work on rvs plus many other things come with a scredriver to put the bits in and a adapter for a electric drill i would get the big set.

AVid OP states that a #1 square drive won't work. Next guess?
I have a set of security screw drivers from Harbor Freight. It has just about everything in it but still don't have one small enough for some of my knives and guns.

I just checked my 2008 KZ and it's got #2 Robertsons also.
Too bad yours is an '07... otherwise that would be a good reason to explain to the DW why you require a new TT LOL.

#2 Robertson on my '97 Allegro Bay, as was my '04 Springdale and my '86 Kit and my '84 Coachmen.
Maybe they changed in the newer models? Wouldn't surprise me any. Just about the time you get all the tools to work on something somebody decides to change it up.
Any chance someone has rounded them out using the wrong bit making them look like a TORX? Just a thought.
