Well, after downloading an studying the Equalizer instructions, I thought I was going to have about a 15min job readjusting my equalizer since swapping from my Expedition to the Excursion. To start off with, I was suprised at how hard it was to find a level area to take measurements The best place I found was a "close" to level spot on the paved drive. After taking my intial measurements, I proceeded to readjust the Equalizer. The dealer originally installed the hitch and I had never looked at it that close. The first thing I noticed that was different than the instructions was the shims. The instructions says to use 5 and mine only had 4. After seeing that I looked over the entire install. The next thing I found was the L brackets were installed for a type A tongue and I had a type B. So, I reverse the brackets and follow the instructions as listed. The end result was a drop of 1" measured above rear wheel and the front stayed the same. A couple of things to note! I only have 4 shims instead of the listed 5, the ground I was on was not perfectly level, but close. The trailer is loaded other than clothes and the truck is completely empty. When I test drove it to a spot on the road that appeared really level, I got out and took a look and the trailer is almost dead level (according to the bubble level) with the front only slightly higher than the rear. I feel that once the truck is loaded and we get all of our clothes in, we will be very close to perfectly level. I took a couple of photos when I got home, but my yard is on a hill and the yard is very unlevel (never bury tree stumps). For those interested, the measurements when loaded to the center of the wheel opening was 38" rear and 37 1/4" front.

Well it looks like you have it all dialed in,
When I had to do that to my old Komfort, I found a gas station that was closed and used his slab behind his station where he used to have a alignment rack. some times a person has to be creative.

Type A is where your trailer coupler is more inline with the top of the frame rail. Type B is inline more with the bottom.

It looks wrong!

The WD bars should be parallel with the A frame. Suspect your ball mount angle is not right or your bars have to light a rating or they are cranked up to tight.

The bars are parralel to the frame. Take a closer look at the photo, it threw me off when I first looked at it too.

The top picture looks like they are not parralel to the A frame but look at the second picture, It looks very even to me.
The only thing I see is when the TV is loaded with the kids and stuff, will the angle change very much?
