I have not checked in here in quite some time. Probably 6 months to a year.
There was an interesting thread, very interesting IMHO, which was in regards to sayings that members recalled from the earlier generations of their families.
I recall it was fairly well received and had many posts.
Occasionally one was a bit off-color but in general the whole thing was pretty sterile.

What became of that thread?
If removed..why?

thanks
my searches have turned up nothing.

You may be speaking of this one. We have had a hard time keeping it open due to too many inappropriate 'sayings'.

Not sure this is same one. I know I had posted there several times and when I look under "my forums" there is no sign of any of my posts there.
Perhaps you all combined it with another thread or changed the name or some such?

I really cannot recall the sayings I contributed, however I feel reasonably certain they were not inappropriate nor censor material (obscene). At least I hope not.
Assuming the thread has been "sterilized" and "PC'd", does that mean it is erased or just quarantined?
In other words could it be re-produced off-forum if need arose?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated, as I wanted to use many of the sayings (of others) in a family chronicle I am compiling.

Could it have been this one on Interesting Expressions?

Jaco
You have more posts than I can access therefore I suspect the thread you posted to has gone into the archives and I don't find anything from you in the deletes. Presently we can not access that area .

Not much we can do about it at the present time
