Welcome aboard. Hope you enjoy the new MH. Just thought I would give a heads up on the Malibu. It is a very nice economical TOAD. There is an interlock cable between the ignition switch and the shift lever. It is reached quite easily by poping up the shifter bezel and then use a needlenose to pull the cable free. Tug hard, it will come off. Then you can leave the key out of the ignition and move the shifter to neutral position for towing. Do a search on the dinghy section on the malibu and you will find more info. Just remember the car will roll in neutral by itself. This does away with the need to pull fuses every time. The previous owner may have shown you this, but many don't know it works. I had a 2005 I towed for several years and it worked well.

Thank you for the interlock cable, I was only aware of the fuse removel

Good luck with your new motorhome, We had a Dolphin for six years and put over 60,000 miles on it with no major problems. Enjoy.

The 2005 model year was available for sale in 2004 and the 2009 vehicles are soon to be released. The term several can infer from two to many years. People who have nothing constructive to say, should mind their own business.
